Parish Finance Council
Purpose:
The Parish Finance Council assists the pastor in the administration of the goods of the parish.
Duties:

to prepare the annual budget of income and expenditure for the parish, with the direction of the pastor

to approve monthly or yearly accounts of income and expenditure

to prioritize the parish's construction, renovation or repair projects, taking into account the projects' urgency, budget and method of financing

to approve all parish projects relating to (c) above

to set up committees for special projects if needed
-
to set up regulations for the sound management of ~e goods of the parish
-
to foster a good relationship with the Pastoral Council of the parish\to propose 2 (two) persons as signatories for the bank
Composition:
The Finance Council is made up of:
-
the parish priest
-
at least five (5) members at large
Meetings:
Meetings are usually held on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm, with the exception of July and August.
